Georgia United Credit Union welcomes Stephanie Zuleger as Chief Lending Officer

Georgia United Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Zuleger as chief lending officer (CLO). Zuleger joins Georgia United’s executive leadership team and will report to Executive Vice President, Shawn Turpin.

Zuleger comes to Georgia United with 15 years of credit union experience – most recently from Y-12 Federal Credit Union in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where she held the position of chief lending officer and chief experience officer.

In addition to her extensive credit union experience, Zuleger has been honored with the Credit Union Times Women to Watch award in 2016 and the CUNA Lending Council’s Rising Star award in 2017. As an active conference and event speaker, Zuleger was requested as the keynote speaker at the Credit Union Management Association’s Fall Conference in Ireland, where she shared the international credit union perspective. Passionate about progressing the credit union movement, Zuleger stated, “Our members must be the focus of everything we do each day and helping them to meet their financial goals should be our top priority.”

Zuleger holds a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University and an MBA in HR Management and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

“We are pleased to have Stephanie join the Georgia United family. Stephanie is an accomplished leader with a wide range of knowledge in the credit union industry. This, along with her values make Stephanie ideal to fill the role of chief lending officer. She will be a great addition to our leadership team,” stated Shawn Turpin.
