Georgia United Foundation’s 29th annual Wish Tree program to help children in foster care this holiday

Donations are welcome at any Georgia United branch location by December 11

Georgia United Credit Union Foundation is proud to announce their 29th annual Wish Tree program, which helps to make the holidays a little brighter for children in Georgia’s foster care system.

Grant a child’s wish this season by selecting an ornament from the Wish Tree at any of Georgia United Credit Union’s 19 branch locations. New, unwrapped items should be returned to the branch by December 11, to ensure the local Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), and other charitable organizations, have adequate delivery time.

“It’s our privilege to organize and participate in the annual Wish Tree program,” stated Georgia United Chief Marketing Officer, Aaron Chestnut. “The holidays can be a difficult time for children, but through the generosity and kindness of our donors, children who may have been forgotten will have gifts to open this holiday.”

Since the program’s inception, over 21,000 gifts have been donated to deserving children throughout the local community. This year, the program received 1,798 wishes from children in need. Please consider granting a child’s wish by making a donation at any Georgia United branch location by December 11, 2019.
