Global Credit Union launches Mobile MoveIt!

SPOKANE, WA (July 1, 2013) Global Credit Union is expanding their mobile suite with Mobile MoveIt, an innovative new service that gives members the ability to send money to almost anyone, anywhere from their mobile phone.

Mobile MoveIt, powered by PayPal, is a secure service that transfers money quickly and easily.

Members no longer have to write a check, visit the ATM, or stop by the credit union to transfer money. Now they can simply sign into their Global Credit Union mobile app, select “MoveIt” and enter the recipient’s cell phone number or email address.

Once the money is sent, the recipient logs into their PayPal account to retrieve their funds. From there they can either shop online or transfer the money to a financial account. If the recipient does not have a PayPal account they can create one and then access their money.

Reimbursing a friend or family member has never been so easy. Sending money across the country to a child in college has never been more convenient. For less than a postage stamp, the money is transferred instantly, only costing the member a 40 cent fee.
