Global Donates to Orphanages Around the World

SPOKANE, WA (June 13, 2013) On May 20, Global Credit Union donated 620+ items of clothing to orphanages in Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia through Clothes4Souls, an international and domestic donation facilitator.

After recently rebranding, staff at Global wanted their gently used logo apparel to be recycled and used by others instead of thrown away. With only 153 employees at Global, staff collected over 620 items of clothing over the course of a month to help make an impact.

Most of the people receiving these donations spend countless hours a day searching through landfills of garbage to find necessary items for survival. These abandoned and orphaned children cherish new clothing more than something to eat or even a new toy.

Through these donations Global hopes to bring a small sense of joy and comfort to those receiving their logo apparel.
