Global Unveils Remodeled Branch with VIP Celebration

(May 14, 2013) On May 13 Global Credit Union hosted an exclusive celebration to recognize staff and business partners who collaborated on the remodel of their Shadle branch.

This intimate VIP celebration provided a great opportunity to socialize and pay tribute to the hard work that went into this project.

During the after hours event, Greater Spokane Incorporated made the evening official by providing the larger-than-life scissors and ribbon for the symbolic ribbon cutting, seen in the photo to the right. Dead Serious Lovers, a local rock band whose album just dropped, was also present to serenade guests.

After recently rebranding, Global’s remodeled Shadle location is now the flagship branch for all other interior branch design to follow. The inspiration behind the new design was incorporating color, liveliness and a fresh new perspective.

Upon entering the Shadle branch, one will immediately notice the teal colored walls and the open, inviting atmosphere which includes a reading nook. Glass paneled offices and the modern craftsmanship contribute to the aesthetically pleasing environment.

Bright and detailed wall art murals by Tiffany Patterson and Darcy Lee Drury Saxton, both local artists, add a unique community spirit to the branch.

“With our new brand, Global wanted to bring life, color and vibrancy back into banking. We wanted to make our credit union a place where people enjoyed coming and could feel at home,” says CEO and President Jack Fallis.

As Global looks to the future, they plan to grow and significantly increase their relevance to younger markets. Members will continue to experience world class service and a commitment to excellence.
