Golden 1 Credit Union announces new retail and human resources executives
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 8, 2019) — Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) has announced the appointment of two executives to its leadership team. Michael Popp was promoted to Senior Vice President – Chief Retail Officer, and Heather Andrade-Neumann joined the credit union as the Senior Vice President – Chief Human Resources Officer.

Popp has a long history of service excellence. He joined the credit union nearly 11 years ago. His experience at Golden 1 includes positions as Vice President – Consumer Lending and Vice President – Home Loans. He most recently served as Vice President – Branch Channel Delivery. Throughout his tenure, Popp has been dedicated to members and employees, and to creating an exceptional service experience. In his new role, he will develop and implement strategic plans to serve and grow membership while constantly seeking to differentiate the credit union in the eyes of members and consumers.
Andrade-Neumann is the newest addition to the executive team. She brings 25 years of experience at technology companies including MediaKind Global, Ericsson, and Hewlett Packard to Golden 1. She is an expert in employee relations and engagement, employee services administration, and talent acquisition. She will drive the credit union’s continued focus on a positive working environment that attracts, develops, retains, and fosters a dynamic workforce.
