Greater Nevada Announces New EVP of Mortgage Lending

Carson City, NV (March 6, 2015) — Greater Nevada Mortgage (GNM) has named James Anderson as its new Executive Vice President of Mortgage Lending. Anderson will lead GNM’s strategic initiatives and oversee sales, servicing, operations, and secondary marketing, as well as the relationship with parent company, Greater Nevada Credit Union.

Anderson has an extensive background in the credit union mortgage industry. His experience includes creating the first mortgage program at KeyPoint Credit Union in Santa Clara, California, growing it to a $325 million operation in less than three years. At Sacramento-based Golden 1 Credit Union (the sixth largest credit union in the country) he oversaw the origination and servicing of $2 billion in real estate loans, leading a division of three managers and 70 team members.

Most recently, Anderson was the director at a full-service mortgage bank in Folsom, California, developing third party brokerage arrangements with credit unions and increasing Realtor® relationships. Anderson holds a BS in Business Administration with Finance Emphasis from California State University, Chico.
