Greater Texas Credit Union recognized for supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

AUSTIN, TX (June 19, 2018) — Greater Texas Credit Union’s two Houston locations were recognized for fundraising $1,566 by supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Halloween pinup sales.

Participating in the program since 2015, St. Jude’s has been a focus for the local Greater Texas locations because it’s a cause the staff are very passionate for. There’s even a little competitive spirit that comes out once the fundraising starts, to see who’s winning in “sales” at the end of each week.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s mission is to “advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.” They offer many ways to get involved locally through fundraising and engagement: https://www.stjude.org/get-involved.html
