Greylock Federal holds food drive throughout May
PITTSFIELD, MA (May 7, 2018) — Greylock Federal Credit Union will hold a food drive in the month of May to benefit local food pantries. Those who would like to contribute nonperishable food items and paper goods may bring donations to any Greylock branch during the month of May.
Each branch will be a collection point to benefit a specific food pantry sponsored by an organization or church, as follows:
North Adams Branch – Friendship Center Food Pantry
Adams Branch – St. John Paul Charity Center
Williamstown Branch – St. Patrick and St. Raphael Churches
Great Barrington Branch – St. Peter and St. Teresa of Calcutta Churches
Lenox Branch – United Methodist Church of Lenox
Lee Branch – Lee Food Pantry
West St. Branch – Salvation Army and First Baptist Church
Allendale Office – 1st Methodist on Fenn Street and St. Joseph Church
Elm Street Branch – Christian Center
Kellogg Street Branch – Berkshire Dream Center
Merrill Road Branch – St. Agnes Church
Lanesborough Branch – American Legion/VFW Food Pantry
“Berkshire County food pantries do wonderful work year-round serving those in need. Greylock employees will be taking the lead in helping replenish the pantries during the month of May,” said Greylock President & CEO John L. Bissell. “We encourage our members and everyone in the community to donate food items at their local branches to support the food pantry of their choice.”
