Hamilton Southeastern Schools & Teachers Credit Union announce business services partnership
SOUTH BEND, IN (September 28, 2018) — A new business services partnership was announced earlier this week between Hamilton Southeastern Schools (HSE) and Teachers Credit Union (TCU). Through the new five-year agreement, TCU will provide cash management services to the school corporation to enhance operations and financial management. TCU will also provide annual support as the exclusive naming rights sponsor to the football fields at Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School.
Overall, the cash management dividends and naming rights sponsorship elements are expected to provide Hamilton Southeastern Schools a total of $1.3 million of support annually over the term of the partnership to benefit Hamilton Southeastern Schools.
“TCU is proud to have been selected as the financial services provider for the Hamilton Southeastern Schools District,” said TCU President and CEO Paul Marsh. “HSE has a proven record of being a forward-thinking school district. Our vision is to partner with our communities to achieve their financial success one member at a time. We are excited about our partnership with HSE and the benefits it will provide the students of the district.”
Superintendent Dr. Allen Bourff said, “There are so many financial institutions that offer excellent service to schools in this area. Teachers Credit Union was selected after a competitive process that demonstrated their desire to work with HSE, and we look forward to working with them.”
The partnership agreements were introduced at the September 26 Hamilton Southeastern Schools board meeting. Two primary agreements were approved, specifically the football field naming rights agreement and the cash management agreement over a 3-year term with an automatic 2-year renewal. The agreements are expected to go into effect within the next 30 days.
