Heritage Trust Supports Lowcountry Orphan Relief
CHARLESTON, SC (July 31, 2013) — Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union recently donated school supply items to the Lowcountry Orphan Relief’s Back-to-School Drive. Heritage Trust branches served as collection sites for employees and community members to donate new school supplies. This event was held in correlation with the Charleston Chapter of Credit Unions’ 2013 charitable initiatives.
The Charleston Chapter of Credit Unions represents nine local credit unions working to educate and promote our “People Helping People” philosophy. “Heritage Trust is committed to spreading awareness of local charitable organizations and we appreciate the opportunity to participate with other credit unions to give back to our community,” commented David D’Annunzio, Heritage Trust SVP/CFO.
