Hillsboro Hops Announce Advantis Credit Union as Final Founding Corporate Partner

Advantis Credit Union Joins BridgePort Brewing, Nike, The Oregonian/Oregonlive.com, Les Schwab and Tuality Healthcare as Hops Founding Corporate Partner

HILLSBORO, OR (June 6, 2013) The Hillsboro Hops (@HillsboroHops) announced today that they have solidified an agreement with their sixth and final “Founding Corporate Partner” – Advantis Credit Union.

Advantis Credit Union joins the Hops Founding Corporate Partners that include: BridgePort Brewing, Nike, The Oregonian/Oregonlive.com, Les Schwab and Tuality Healthcare.

Advantis Credit Union (www.advantiscu.org) is local and member-owned, with over 50,000 members and five branches in the Metro area. This year Advantis celebrates 85 years of service to the local community.

“There is so much excitement about the return of baseball to our community, and we are proud to be part of it as a founding partner with the Hillsboro Hops,” said Wendy Edwards, Vice President of Marketing and Human Resources for Advantis Credit Union.

All founding partners will have featured signage adjacent to the video board, promotional opportunities, hospitality opportunities, and use of the Hops team marks for co-marketing.

The Hillsboro Hops will play their first season in Oregon after moving from Yakima, Washington. The team will begin their 76-game regular season on Friday, June 14th with a three-game series against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in Salem. The Hops will make their home debut in Hillsboro on Monday, June 17th when they play host to Eugene Emeralds for a three-game series. About Hillsboro Hops
The Hillsboro Hops are the Single-A baseball affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. The team’s season runs from mid-June to early September. The franchise relocated to Hillsboro in 2012 and will begin play in 2013 in a new state-of-the-art 4,500 capacity ballpark.
