Honor Credit Union Launches Powered By Honor® Fund
ST. JOSEPH, MI – February 1st marked the launch of Honor Credit Union’s new initiative – Powered By Honor®. Powered By Honor’s mission is to Partner With Your Community; it is a fund that will act as Honor Credit Union’s charitable arm.
“With our growing marketplace, we felt a new solution was needed to continue Honor’s tradition of strong involvement in the community”, stated Scott McFarland, Honor Credit Union CEO. “Powered By Honor allows for more locally-focused community support through one centralized fund.”
Powered By Honor® will fund many of Honor’s current programs, including the High School Community Commitment Scholarships and Relay for Life. PBH will also fund the many donations made by Honor Credit Union throughout the year to other various organizations.
Powered By Honor® is funded through a wide range of channels: Honor Credit Union’s employee donations, proceeds from Honor’s Member Perks program, a portion of Honor’s debit and credit card fee income, and various fundraising activities.
