Hopewell Federal Credit Union Supports Operation Feed

HEATH / NEWARK, OH (April 9, 2013) – Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU), once again, offered its support for the Food Pantry Network of Licking County.  The members and staff collected 237 non-perishable food items and cash donations which equated to 1087 food items for the Food Pantry.

The HFCU staff created donation drop off locations at both the Heath and Newark offices.  In addition, their annual member appreciation event, The Spring Hop, invited people to support the cause with a donation of a non perishable food item.  Amy Landis, Heath Branch Manager, offered this reflection of the recent campaign, “Our members as well as our staff are amazing with their generosity.  We were pleased with the outcome and know that every little bit goes a long way to help the hungry.  We look forward to assisting again in the future.”
