Hughes Federal Credit Union, as a part of its 17th Annual Scholarship program, is now accepting applications for seven $2,000 scholarships to assist local high school graduates in continuing their education in fall 2022.
“Hughes is proud to again support local high school students graduating this spring who want to further their education and skills,” said Hughes Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Service Elisa Ross. “As in the past, we expect impressive essay and video submissions this year.”
Applicants must be high school seniors entering college, university, trade school or a certification program in fall 2022, and a Hughes primary member. To enter, applicants must complete the Cost of College course through MoneyCoach for Students, then submit an online scholarship form, along with either a written essay or a one- to two-minute video that answers the question: “What is one financial habit you’ve learned from MoneyCoach for Students and how do you think it will help you in the future?”
The deadline for applications is March 14, 2022. Complete details and the online application form are available at HughesFCU.org/Scholarship. Winners will be announced in May 2022.
