IBM Southeast Employees’ Credit Union’s Southeast Credit Union Foundation is donating $10,000 to assist credit unions and victims from Hurricane Michael in the Florida Panhandle.
Last week, when the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation made a call-out for donations to help the victims of Hurricane Michael, IBMSECU rose up and took action. Today, IBMSECU announced that they would donate $10,000 to their Disaster Relief Fund to help their neighbors who were devastated by the historic, category 4 storm. A portion of those monies was donated by IBMSECU employees.
The mission of the Southeast Credit Union Foundation is to improve the lives of children and families in the communities we serve. The Southeast Credit Union Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered in the state of Florida.
Members of the community can still donate through the SECU Foundation to benefit the National Credit Union Foundation’s CUAid for Hurricane Michael. IBMSECU will match all donations made through October 31, 2018. Under “Donation Amount,” select “$5 Hurricane Florence/Michael Relief,” and then select quantity.

The National Credit Union Foundation’s CUAid.coop website is open to receive individual contributions or donations to assist credit union people affected by Michael. You can also donate online directly to the American Red Cross.
