Insight Credit Union renews partnership with City of Inverness Event and Visitors Bureau

Insight Credit Union has renewed its partnership with the City of Inverness Event and Visitors Bureau for the sixth consecutive year and presented a check at the new Inverness Visitor Center.

Since 2013, Insight has supported community events in Inverness as an effort to boost economic development and tourism within the city. The credit union has given $7,500 annually for a total of $45,000 to date. As a result of this contribution, the city of Inverness has seen continued growth of many of its signature events including Patriotic Evening, The Great American Cooter Festival, The Inverness Grand Prix and Taste of Inverness—events that draw in thousands of visitors each year.

Calling itself a small town done right, Inverness’ collaboration with Insight enables the credit union to have a presence at more than 25 of the city’s festivals and events, allowing for a stronger relationship with members of the community.

“Insight is pleased to carry on the tradition of serving our members, partners, and the community through our partnership with the City of Inverness”, said George Davis, president and chief executive officer of Insight Credit Union. “We look forward to a great year supporting the city and are excited to continue strengthening our relationships in the Citrus County area.”
