Jeanne D’arc Credit Union’s Jessica Aller selected as spokesperson for American Heart Association

LOWELL, MA (March 30, 2015) — Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is pleased to announce that Jessica Aller, Financial Education Specialist, has been selected as one of two spokespersons for the American Heart Association in Massachusetts for 2015.

“This is an incredible honor for me,” Jessica Aller said. “I hope my story will create an increased awareness of heart disease and encourage others to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.”

Ms. Aller, 29, of was born with a congenital heart defect and has undergone three heart surgeries. Today, the Tyngsboro resident lives a full and active life, but always keeps heart health at the forefront of her mind. She was selected as spokesperson after volunteering to help support the American Heart Association in any way she could.

“We are very proud of Jessica’s many accomplishments, and particularly of how she never let her heart condition prevent her from reaching for her goals and living an active life,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union.

In support of Ms. Aller and the American Heart Association, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union celebrated a Wear Red Day on Friday, March 27th, during which employees were given the opportunity to donate to the American Heart Association.
