JetStream Federal Credit Union sponsors first DBC Economic Forecast Luncheon
MIAMI LAKES, FL (October 29, 2013) — JetStream Federal Credit Union was one of the table sponsors for the Doral Business Council’s first ever Economic Forecast Luncheon. The event hosted by the DBC’s Financial Services committee, chaired by Mara Falero, vice president of marketing for JetStream Federal, was held at the beautiful Intercontinental Hotel in Doral. The Doral Business Council is one of the leading economic development organizations in this region. Its primary goal is to foster business growth and expansion as well as provide a forum to meet and interact with other businesses in the community.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Tom Cunningham, Vice President, Senior Economist and Regional Executive for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta presented 2014 trends, topics, issues and predictions for the upcoming year. A distinguished panel of local CEO’s, including Mike Pappas and Abe Ng representing the local sub-sectors of real estate, tourism, hospitality, small business and international trade followed providing the trends for the South Florida market and differentiating the predictions for the local versus national markets.
