JetStream Federal Retired Vice President of Lending Passes

MIAMI LAKES, FL A beloved, retired employee of JetStream Federal Credit Union, Fernando Reyes, passed away on Friday, April 19th following a long battle with cancer.  After a three decade career in financial services, Fernando joined the JetStream team and served as Vice President of Lending for 13 years, from 1998 to 2011.  Fernando possessed a passion for his work that was only surpassed by his love for family.  He was a credit union champion who passed the torch on to his son, Jace Reyes, a lifelong credit union employee who currently serves as CEO of Miami Postal Service Credit Union.  JetStream President and CEO, Jeanne Kucey, stated “All of the JetStream team members and volunteers will miss Fernando’s sense of humor, personal strength, and love for life.  We express our deepest sympathies to his family.”
