JetStream Promotes Small to EVP, Chief Operating Officer
MIAMI LAKES, FL (July 3, 2013) JetStream Federal Credit Union (JFCU) announced today the promotion of Dr. Aaron Small to executive vice president and chief operating officer. Small previously served as both senior vice president/COO and VP of member experience.
“With his boundless energy, passion for excellence, and creative resourcefulness, Aaron has improved both the operational integrity and effective utilization of technology across departmental lines within JFCU.” said Jeanne Kucey, JFCU president and CEO. “He has challenged our team members to increase their level of engagement, holds them accountable for results, and provides them with training and managerial guidance on a daily basis. He has earned the full support of JFCU’s team members and volunteers, and I know he will continue to be an instrument for positive and innovative change in the years ahead.”
As EVP/COO, Small oversees JFCU’s branch network, operations, compliance, training, and IT. Prior to joining the JetStream team in 2010, he served as an expense management consultant to JFCU while working as a SVP Business Analyst for Profit Motivators International. Prior to his work at PMI, Small served in a variety of capacities at KeyBank, including his final position as Private Banking VP Senior Business Analyst.
Small earned his Ph.D. in Management and Financial Accounting, and his BA in Management and Financial Accounting, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He earned his BS degree in Biological Science from Mesa State College.
