Keeping the animals happy & healthy

DOVER, DE (August 24, 2018) — Thanks to a community initiative between the First State Animal Center, SPCA and Dover Federal Credit Union, $2,808 was raised for the animals during the months of June and July.  Private donations made by Dover Federal Credit Union employees were collected over the course of the month and then matched dollar for dollar by Dover Federal Credit Union.  As an example of the opportunities that the First State Animal Shelter provides to the well-being of pets, on Saturday, August 18th, the First State Animal Center and SPCA held a Clear the Shelter event. This day provided adoptions for only $8.18, helping these animal friends to find their new forever home where they will be happy and healthy.

The First State Animal Center and SPCA is located at 32 Shelter Circle Camden, De 19934.  They are a non-profit, no kill animal shelter that offers pet adoptions, wellness care, doggy dog care and boarding, changing animal lives one by one.
