On Monday, August 12, 2019, Kevin Chiappetta, President of QuantyPhi, presented two units at the CUNA Investment Certification School in Chicago, IL. The units covered Key Principals and Financial Characteristics and Developing Risk and Return Requirements for Investment Portfolios.
“Helping credit unions understand the workings of investment calculations, structures and return measurement is a building block of good balance sheet management. The more we can help credit unions understand this information, the better we can accomplish one of our core missions at QuantyPhi,” Chiappetta said.
Amanda Schumacher, Instructional Design Manager at CUNA said, “CUNA Investment Certification School allows attendees to gain insights from knowledgeable speakers that have real-world industry experience. The insight gained from these speakers helped 29 attendees earn their Certified Credit Union Investments Professional (CCUIP) designation, showing they can successfully demonstrate the knowledge needed to be a credit union investments expert.”
CUNA Investment Certification Schools are now in their fourth year. They are designed to help credit union professionals strengthen investment management skills and improve processes and operations for guiding credit union investment strategy.
