Kohler Credit Union raises $10,462 for local Children’s Hospital

KOHLER, WI (March 11, 2015) — In February, through the Chain of Hearts campaign and donations from its annual employee holiday party, Kohler Credit Union raised $10,462 to help families supported by Children’s Miracle Network. The money raised will support Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, one of more than 170 Children’s Miracle Network-affiliated hospitals across the United States and Canada.

The campaign raised funds through the sale of links and hearts as well as other branch specific fundraisers such as bake sales and raffles. The links and hearts that were sold included the names of credit union members and their loved ones remembered in a special way for the Valentine season. Kohler Credit Union’s Chain of Hearts campaign is part of a statewide fundraising effort of more than 300 credit unions.

Kohler Credit Union thanks their member-owners as well as their employees for the generosity in contributing to the fundraising activities during the campaign. The success of the campaign was largely due to their support.

Children’s Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for children’s hospitals, medical research and community awareness of children’s health issues. They actively help local families by supporting improved health care to millions of children worldwide.

Kohler Credit Union is a $285 million not-for-profit, financial cooperative, owned and governed by its members. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Sheboygan, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington or Waukesha County; as well as their immediate family members and associations or organizations.
