Lake Michigan Credit Union promotes David Knisley to mortgage loan originator for Grand Rapids Area

Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce the promotion of David Knisley to its team as a mortgage loan originator for its South Division, Grand Rapids branch office. He reports directly to LMCU’s Vice President of Regional Mortgage Production, Andrew Clarkson, and will be serving the Grand Rapids market.

Knisley attended Muskegon Community College and has since amassed over 25 years of experience, working for PNC Mortgage, Old Kent Bank and Green Tree Funding (business lending). Knisley originally hired in at LMCU as a Member Direct loan officer in April of 2016 before being promoted to its outside lending team.

Clarkson is excited to have Knisley join his Grand Rapids lending team. “David has been a top loan officer for well over two decades. We are extremely excited to have this caliber of professional onboard to help expand our West Michigan team.”

Knisley said, “I look forward to establishing and building relationships with new members and serving their needs with LMCU’s extensive selection of mortgage products. I’m already well versed in these lending programs and welcome the opportunity to work face-to-face with our real estate, building and community partners.”

Knisley lives in Grandville, Michigan with his wife and four children.
