Landings Credit Union donates 240 cases of bottled water to those in need

TEMPE, AZ (August 24, 2020) — Landings Credit Union recently donated 240 cases of bottled water to those in need in both the Tempe and Chandler communities. 120 cases were donated to Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA). TCAA has been helping Arizonians in need since the 1960’s. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for those experiencing hardship in the Tempe area. The other 120 cases of bottled water were donated to local Chandler area non-profit AZCEND. Formerly known as Chandler Christian Community Center (CCCC), AZCEND has been helping Chandler residents in need for the past 50 years.

Landings CU holds an annual bottled water drive to help combat heat-related issues in vulnerable communities during the hot summer months. This year in lieu of asking their members for donations Landings CU had pallets of water delivered to both TCAA and AZCEND to ensure the safety of their members as well as those receiving the donations.
