Learn about “The Science of Saving” with Royal Credit Union during National Credit Union Youth Month
EAU CLAIRE, WI (March 21, 2018) — Royal Credit Union is encouraging its Members to celebrate with us during National Credit Union Youth Month. The theme this year is “The Science of Saving,” showcasing fun, sci-fi-inspired characters. Science has proven that if you start with small goals, saving your money can become a regular habit. This year’s Youth Month inspires children to begin saving the money they earn so they can attain their dreams of a happy future.
“At Royal, we want to help you teach your children good financial habits. Together we can help them blast-off toward a bright and wondrous future.” said Holly Hermanson, Community Engagement Coordinator at Royal.
Here are the great events Royal has planned in April
Kid’s Club Promotion
Open a new Savings Account for children 12 years old and younger any time in April and Royal will deposit the initial $5.00 into the account. Children 12 years old and younger will automatically be enrolled in Royal Credit Union’s Kid’s Club and be eligible for prizes and invitations to exclusive Kid’s Club events. Only one new savings account per person is allowed. Additionally, all Members 12 years old and younger can also register to win a great prize basket. There will be one winner awarded at each office.
School $ense Celebration
During the month of April, Royal’s elementary School $ense locations will have classroom trivia for which students and teachers can be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket for their class.
Money Smart Week – April 21-28
During Money Smart Week hundreds of financial institutions, schools, libraries, and other organizations across the country come together to share the importance of financial literacy and to provide free educational seminars and activities. Be sure to keep an eye out for Money Smart Week events in your community.
Double Stamps!
Kid’s Club Members will receive double stamps on their Super Saver cards during Money Smart Week in the offices and at all School $ense locations.
