LenderClose adds to sales, developer teams
Two new associates accelerate fintech startup’s penetration of the community lending market
DES MOINES, IA (December 3, 2018) — Fintech startup LenderClose today announced the addition of two associates to its growing team: Erika DeMers, sales associate, and David Stiennon, senior front-end developer.
Earlier this year, firm’s leadership announced a growth investment intended to finance the addition of at least 25 employees by the end of 2019.
Joining LenderClose from Des Moines-based Collins Community Credit Union, DeMers brings extensive sales and client service experience, as well as familiarity with the community financial institution space, to the fintech firm. She will be responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new LenderClose clients. In addition, DeMers will manage client training and oversee implementation of the LenderClose platform at the credit unions and community banks that partner with LenderClose.
Onboarding is becoming simpler as LenderClose integrates with some of the lending industry’s leading loan origination systems. In November, LenderClose announced it had integrated with MeridianLink’s LoansPQ loan origination platform.
Stiennon brings a decade of software engineering experience to LenderClose. Most recently, he was a lead front-end developer for Ameriprise Financial Services in Minneapolis where he spearheaded his team’s development of a client-facing financial goals planning solution. Stiennon will work closely with LenderClose Director of Technology Dan Davis, as well as Principal Engineer Michael Kroher.
The web-based LenderClose platform uses API connections to bring everything lenders require to originate a mortgage or HELOC – from flood certification and valuation products to title reports and e-recording services – under a single access point. This allows lending staff to run a streamlined and vastly accelerated underwriting process.
