LSCU announces award winners for Volunteer of the Year
SAVANNAH, GA (June 27, 2022) — On Thursday, June 16, 2022, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) presented its annual LSCU Awards at the 2022 Southeastern Credit Union Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida. This awards ceremony recognizes credit unions and credit union professionals who have demonstrated exemplary service and accomplished significant achievements in 2021.
The Volunteer of the Year award recognizes credit union volunteers who have selflessly contributed time, effort, and talent to the development of the credit union movement in their state.
The winners of the Volunteer of the Year award are as follows:
- Howard Barnett of Heritage South Credit Union (Alabama)
- Diane Fears of VyStar Credit Union (Florida)
- Joe Ruhland of CORE Credit Union (Georgia)
