LSCU announces statewide endorsements for 2022 election cycle

TALLAHASSEE, FL (May 9, 2022) — Representing Georgia credit unions and their more than 2.2 million members, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) is proud to announce key statewide endorsements for the 2022 Election Cycle.

LSCU & Affiliates will be supporting the following candidates in their bids for elected office:

Incumbent Brian P. Kemp for Governor
Senate President Pro Tempore Butch Miller for Lieutenant Governor

“Credit unions are dedicated to bettering the lives of their members and local communities. Day after day, Georgia credit unions work to identify innovative solutions that will improve the financial well-being of members in every corner of the state,” explained LSCU & Affiliates CEO, Patrick La Pine. “We are thrilled to support these candidates who align with the credit union philosophy of ‘People Helping People.’ We are proud to work alongside Governor Brian Kemp and soon-to-be Lieutenant Governor Butch Miller in helping Georgians achieve financial independence and success.”

With these endorsements, LSCU & Affiliates will support these candidates financially and through grassroots efforts. Over the next several months, credit unions will continue to have opportunities to speak with these supported candidates.
