Marci Miller joins Numerica as SVP of retail experience and engagement

SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (November 9, 2021) — Numerica Credit Union is thrilled to announce that Marci Miller has been hired as senior vice president of retail experience and engagement. With a focus on leading the greater Spokane and North Idaho retail team, Miller will prioritize member relationships and oversee Numerica’s growing market presence.

“It is a privilege to be joining an organization founded on providing a deep level of expertise and care to its members and community,” Miller said. “I’m looking forward to learning more about our incredibly dedicated teams, focusing on member experience and sharing the Numerica experience with others.”

Miller joins Numerica with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Most recently, she was senior vice president at Columbia Bank, leading the business banking team. In addition to her years of senior leadership experience, Miller has expertise in business development, retail leadership and cross-functional management. She is a graduate of University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and Pacific Coast Banking School.

While SVP of Columbia Bank’s northwest Washington market, Miller attracted new business relationship managers, managed bank-wide operating committees and SBA expansion groups. Miller motivated profitable and successful teams internally, while fulfilling client’s financial dreams.

“Marci brings a wealth of experience to our team,” said Nicole Sherman, Numerica’s chief operating officer. “As a leader, she has a collaborative approach and proven high-performing track record of success. She is dedicated and motivated to enhancing member experiences while being an advocate for the communities we serve.”

Miller has been recognized throughout her career for top performance, both as a leader and producer. She was a recipient of the 2018 Rainmaker award at Columbia Bank for highest production in retail banking. More recently, her team led the retail organization in enhancing people’s lives through record breaking loan production and other financial services.

Miller spearheaded an annual Women in Business conference for Columbia Bank in 2016. The event began in the Snohomish County market, and rapidly spread across the organization. With her refreshing approach to leadership, the conference has grown and now brings together hundreds of professional women for a day of empowerment, education and inspiration.

As an activist for the community, Miller is a board member for the Washington Vocational Services, and served as president from 2012-2015. She also served the Lake Stevens Education Foundation as secretary and treasurer from 1996-2015.
