Marie Thresher has joined New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) as Enterprise Risk Program Manager. Ms. Thresher’s experience includes over 20 years of expertise within the financial services industry. She holds a BS in Finance from Central Connecticut State University and holds multiple certifications in information systems, risk and audit. She has extensive industry experience in the Northeast and national markets, including former Chief Operating Officer for Merchant’s bank and Senior Vice President and Chief Auditor of People’s United Bank. She is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (Green Mountain Chapter) and the Information Security and Control Association (Albany, New York chapter.) In addition, she serves on the Board of Vermont CARES, a locally based non-profit institution.
