Marine Credit Union leadership changes

LA CROSSE, WI (March 6, 2018) — Marine Credit Union announced several additions to their leadership in the last few weeks that will support the company’s continued growth.

Randy Hass has joined Marine Credit Union as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Hass has almost 28 years of experience in the financial industry and joins the credit union through the recent merger between Marine Credit Union and Bent River Community Credit Union, where he served as President and CEO. Hass also holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin CUNA Management School.

Brian Johnson has joined Marine Credit Union as a District Manager. Johnson has more than 20 years of cross-functional management experience in the financial industry. He joins Marine from PLS Financial Services, where he was Chief Operating Officer. Johnson holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

Matt Lawless was named Branch Manager at Marine Credit Union’s branch on Pioneer Road in Fond du Lac. Lawless began his career at Marine Credit Union as a Consumer Loan Officer (CLO) in July of 2015 and was promoted to Senior CLO in September of 2016. In June of 2017 he was promoted to Mortgage Loan Representative.

Dan Krause was named Branch Manager at Marine Credit Union’s branch in Chippewa Falls. Krause began his career at Marine Credit Union as the Branch Manager in Eau Claire in September of 2016.

Michael Barnhardt was named Branch Manager at Marine Credit Union’s branch in Eau Claire. Barnhardt joined Marine in October 2017 as a Branch Manager trainee and has been serving in various roles across multiple locations in the organization. Barnhardt has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry and joins Marine from OneMain Financial, where he served as Vice President and District Manager of Operations.

Steve Leffew was named Branch Manager at Marine Credit Union’s branch on Wisconsin American Drive in Fond du Lac. Leffew began his career as a Consumer Loan Officer (CLO) in Ripon in August 2015. He served as a CLO in Neenah as well before being promoted to Branch Manager in Green Bay. In February of 2017 he moved to the Branch Manager role in Neenah, before transitioning to Branch Manager in Fond du Lac.

Travis Polodna was named Branch Manager at Marine Credit Union’s branch on Rees Street in Fond du Lac. Polodna began his career as a Consumer Loan Officer (CLO) in Prairie du Chien in June 2015. In March 2016 he was promoted to Mortgage Loan Representative (MLR). Polodna relocated to Fond du Lac in March 2017 with his promotion to Branch Manager at the branch on Wisconsin American Drive.
