MasterPass by MasterCard now available to CSCU members; Digital wallet service offers secure and convenient shopping from anywhere

TAMPA, FL (October 24, 2013) — Card Services for Credit Unions (CSCU) is offering members a more secure and efficient digital shopping experience through access to MasterPass™ by MasterCard®.  The digital wallet service enables cardholders to make a one-touch payment using any card via the web or on an enabled mobile device, with any retailer that accepts MasterPass.

“The availability of MasterPass will be especially beneficial to both credit unions and their members as the holiday season approaches,” said Kristi Mackey, AVP of Client Services and Product, CSCU.  “Our member credit unions will experience increased transactions that come with a simplified digital shopping experience, while cardholders will enjoy its convenience, security and ease of use.”

CSCU member credit unions can offer cardholders access to their MasterPass digital wallets via the credit unions’ websites, where users can safely store card information, as well as use other branded credit, debit and prepaid cards to make transactions.
