MAX names new mortgage originator for East Alabama
AUBURN, AL (May 27, 2015) — MAX has named Steven Soltau as Mortgage Originator for East Alabama. Soltau will oversee the mortgage loan process and work with local residents and realtors in Lee County and surrounding areas to help them meet their financial goals. His office will be in MAX’s Auburn Downtown location.
MAX and Soltau are excited about what he brings to the team. Soltau said, “I am excited to join MAX because I feel that we have the right leaders in place and the right products to help our customers and businesses navigate in today’s economy and achieve their financial goals for success.”
Soltau began his banking career in Tallahassee, Florida in 2000. He became a branch manager in Jacksonville, Florida in 2004 and most recently was an assistant vice president and branch manager in Opelika. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Florida State in 2003 and has also graduated from two executive level banking schools. He is active in the Lee County community, including serving as Activities Chair of the Opelika Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors since 2007. This January, he joined the Board of Directors for Opelika Main Street.
