We’re thrilled to introduce James Champion-Silva as the new Branch Manager of our Battle Creek branch and Hayley Nevins as the new Branch Manager of our Marshall branch. Both bring passion, experience, and a commitment to supporting members and their financial goals.
James joined MCCU in 2023 as Assistant Branch Manager in Marshall and quickly made an impact with his 10+ years of banking experience. With an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and service in the Michigan Army National Guard, James combines his skills and dedication to help members find financial solutions that make sense for their lives. “I strive to support and empower our staff to grow and I’m excited to bring that dedication to the Battle Creek branch.” He’s also connected to the Battle Creek community, serving on the board for Battle Creek Pride.
Hayley steps into her new role as Marshall Branch Manager after successfully leading our Battle Creek branch for two years. With nearly nine years at MCCU, including time in various member-facing positions, she’s known for her hands-on leadership and commitment to helping others. “Helping teach, train, and coach staff to reach their highest potential is incredibly important to me,” she shared. “I’m here to support and guide our team and members, building a foundation of growth and financial stability.” Certified as a Credit Union Financial Counselor, Hayley brings her knowledge and heart to help members strengthen their financial well-being.
