MDT – 2019 Cool Place to Work in Michigan by Crain’s Detroit Business

Member Driven Technologies (MDT), a CUSO that hosts the Episys® core platform from Symitar® to provide a private cloud alternative for core processing and IT needs, has been recognized as a 2019 Cool Place to Work in Michigan by Crain’s Detroit Business.

MDT ranked no. 5 among medium sized companies and no. 21 overall on this year’s list of 100 Cool Places to Work in Michigan, up from no. 55 overall on the 2018 list. The rankings were determined based on a confidential employee survey evaluating workplace culture, company leadership, benefits and growth opportunities. Employees commonly listed flexibility, meaningful core values and high levels of collaboration as reasons they enjoy working at MDT. This is the third consecutive year that MDT has been recognized as a Cool Place to Work in Michigan.

MDT’s dedication to providing a rewarding work environment is demonstrated through its employee amenities, which include a gym, relaxation room, snack bar with healthy options and an outdoor workspace. The office is decorated with work from local artists that showcases and celebrates Detroit’s unique history. The company is committed to supporting its employees and their families outside of the workplace as well; this year, MDT introduced a 6-week paternity leave and pet insurance as part of its benefits.

“Since the beginning, investing in our employees and their professional development has been a top priority at MDT,” said Larry Nichols, president and CEO of MDT. “We strive to foster a work environment that is transparent, challenging and fun. Such an atmosphere encourages collaboration and innovation, ultimately contributing to overall company success. We are honored to once again be recognized as a Cool Place to Work in Michigan.”

MDT has nearly 150 employees across the United States and 114 in Michigan. For more on the Cool Places to Work in Michigan listing, click here.
