Member Driven Technologies reports growth entering its 15th year

CUSO experienced steady growth, recognized for dynamic culture in 2017

Member Driven Technologies (MDT), a CUSO providing credit unions with a private cloud alternative for core banking and IT needs, concluded 2017 with significant client and employee expansion as well as strong industry recognition for its rewarding company culture.

MDT onboarded six clients and signed four new credit unions last year, and its total member base grew nearly ten percent. The CUSO installed at least one major new product or service for more than 90 percent of clients. Employee count also increased, as MDT reached 140 teammates last year. Because of this significant growth, the company was included on the 2017 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America.

The CUSO wasn’t only acknowledged for its company growth in 2017, but for its company culture as well. MDT was named a 2017 Cool Place to Work in Michigan by Crain’s Business Detroit for its positive culture, growth opportunities and employee satisfaction. The MDT team supported its Michigan community last year by actively participating in the annual Operation Good Cheer, Habitat for Humanity renovations and Gleaners Food Bank.

MDT opened its second data center in 2017, and Western-based clients are expected to be fully-migrated to this Montana-based facility by fall of 2018. This new data center will strengthen business continuity and disaster recovery for MDT clients.

Larry Nichols, chief executive officer of MDT, said, “As we enter our fifteenth year, MDT remains committed to providing credit unions with the best possible tools to effectively serve members and succeed, and all of our accomplishments in 2017 reflect that mission. In this rapidly evolving financial services landscape, it’s more important than ever before for institutions to partner with strong technology partners to help them navigate these challenges and opportunities and mitigate risk. We look forward to continuing our momentum this year and beyond.”
