Members 1st named #1 Credit Union in Pennsylvania by Forbes and Statista
Credit union recognized for second consecutive year on America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2022
MECHANICSBURG, PA (June 22, 2022) — Members 1st Federal Credit Union was recently named the #1 credit union in Pennsylvania as part of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions annual rankings. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

The survey was sent to approximately 26,000 consumers in the U.S. who were asked to rate credit unions they have or previously have had checking accounts with. A full assessment was completed on each credit union being evaluated in the areas of trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, customer service and financial advice. This year’s winners were chosen and identified after the independent survey results were calculated.
Across the country, 171 credit unions were awarded a place on the list, which equates to about 3.4% of all credit unions nationally. Survey scores received by financial institutions around the U.S. determine where each credit union lands on the list. Last year, Members 1st was second on the list, with this year’s survey results bringing the credit union up to the first spot.
