Michigan Credit Unions recognized among nation’s best for member experience

Lansing, MI (March 10, 2026) |

The Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) is proud to announce that two Michigan credit unions have been named 2026 MemberXP Best of the Best Award winners, earning national recognition for delivering exceptional, data validated member experiences. The awards, presented by CUSG through its MemberXP experience management platform, honor credit unions that consistently translate member feedback into meaningful action.

“Creating outstanding member experiences is at the heart of what credit unions do,” said Patty Corkery, president and CEO of MCUL and CUSG. “Alliance Catholic Credit Union and People Driven Credit Union have shown how listening to members and acting on feedback leads to meaningful connections, loyalty and trust. Their recognition highlights the impact of putting members first at every touchpoint.”

The 2026 awards are based on analysis of millions of data points from over 8.6 million credit union members nationwide. Performance is measured using two proven metrics, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and Member Effort Score (MES). Credit unions ranking in the top 25% across each experiential category earn Best of the

Best distinction. Michigan winners include:

  • Alliance Catholic Credit Union — Best Overall Member Experience and Best New Member Experience
  • People Driven Credit Union — Best Mortgage Loan Experience

By leveraging MemberXP insights, both credit unions continuously identify opportunities to improve service delivery, strengthen member relationships and foster higher advocacy, loyalty and trust.
