Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) Announces New Vice President of Corporate Relations

EAST LANSING, MI (July 17, 2013) — Patrick McPharlin, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MSU Federal Credit Union, is proud to announce the promotion of Sarah Bohan to MSUFCU’s newly created position of Vice President of Corporate Relations.

Bohan, has been with MSUFCU since November of 2004, and has held a variety of staff and management positions. Most recently she served as the Internal and Corporate Communications Manager where she helped to establish new employee and corporate communication functions for the Credit Union. As an experienced communications manager, Bohan will continue to oversee internal communications while being responsible for MSUFCU’s media relations, and campus and community involvement including working with MSUFCU partners and coordinating member benefits as a result from donations. A graduate of Michigan State University (MSU), Bohan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with an emphasis in photography.

McPharlin commented, “As our involvement with the community, MSU, and now Oakland University has grown, Ms. Bohan will bring a high level of strategic communications experience and leadership to our efforts in her new role. I look forward to the contributions she will make as we expand our community involvement and strengthen philanthropic initiatives, which provides more ways to help our members achieve financial success.”
