Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union Announces 2nd Quarter 2013 Chairman’s Award Winner
KINGSTON, NY (August 14, 2013) — Nicole Malcolm has been awarded the Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union Chairman’s Award for TALENT as announced by Gary Anderson, Chairman of the Board. Anderson maintains the value of the award is to encourage employees to go above and beyond, and acknowledge employees’ dedication and commitment to MHV.
TALENT is an acronym that represents the winning attributes of Top Performance, Availability, Leadership, Energy, New Vision and Teamwork.
The Chairman presented Malcolm with the award to the applause of directors and management at the July 31 board meeting.
“MHV is very proud of its employees for their daily commitment to both internal and external member service,” says Anderson. “It’s important to let employees know just how much they contribute to the success of the credit union by awarding those who consistently make the extra effort to go above and beyond.”
Malcolm began her career with MHV 8 years ago as a Co-op Teller and has progressed to Lead MSR Teller. She is responsible for directing and scheduling teller resources to meet branch needs, assisting members with their transactions, and insuring members receive professional and friendly assistance.
Malcolm is a tremendous support to the branches. She makes herself available and is quick to help. She fields many phone calls each day from others in need of assistance. Each call is graciously handled and she uses them as a way to further educate the staff. With her strong knowledge of the processing system, Malcolm assists the Training Department to create directions and develop procedures for the staff to utilize.
As Malcolm’s manager, Branch Manager, Wendy Dugan states, “Nicole has excelled in her leadership role and set an example for others.”
