Christina Mihalik has been named Senior Vice President of Government Relations, for the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (the Association). In her new role, she will oversee all Association legislative and regulatory advocacy programs as well as engage with our compliance and other subject-matter experts to nurture a positive operating environment for Pennsylvania credit unions.
Mihalik joined the Association in 2000 as a governmental affairs specialist. Over the past 18 years, her role has grown from Political Action Committee fundraising and leading credit union grassroots initiatives to overseeing PCUA’s federal and state advocacy strategy. “We are very fortunate to have one of the best, if not the best, lobbyist in Pennsylvania, said Patrick Conway President and CEO. “But, Christina is not just a lobbyist, she is a strong leader that provides valuable input and insights as a member of our Executive Team.”
Mihalik earned both her Masters of Arts in Public Policy and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from New England College, in Henniker, New Hampshire. In addition to being a strong credit union advocate, she also serves as the president of the Pennsylvania Association for Government Relations (PAGR) and has sat on the Board of Directors of the Susquehanna Art Museum, Hershey Public Library Endowment Trust, and New England College Career and Advisory Network. She has also been a Big Sister since August 2010. Mihalik resides with her husband, Joe, in Hershey.
