Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union (MC EFCU) of Germantown, Md., has launched a new VISA® Signature credit card product.
MC EFCU, which primarily serves Montgomery County government employees, along with members from a variety of other local businesses, is delving into the cash-back rewards market for its members with the ONE Card – a new VISA® Signature credit card product.
The new credit card will provide cardholders with several sign-up bonuses and a cash-back rewards structure based on purchases. By offering 3% cash back on gasoline purchases, 2% cash back on grocery purchases and 1.5% cash back on everyday purchases, MC EFCU is looking to compete head-to-head with cards offered by competing financial institutions in the market.
“The addition of the ONE Card to our product lineup is a fantastic addition for our members and a key piece that MC EFCU had been missing with our credit card offerings,” said Jim Norris, CEO of MC EFCU. “We’ve found there is a healthy appetite for cash-back rewards programs with our members and in the market, and the VISA® Signature card fits that need perfectly.”
The new ONE credit card will be available to all MC EFCU members, including current VISA® cardholders, starting in early December. In addition to the new ONE Card, MC EFCU offers three additional VISA® credit card products to fit its members’ financial needs. For more information about MC EFCU, visit www.mcefcu.org.
