Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union (Md.) names Susan Hoefs as new Lending Director
GERMANTOWN, MD (May 29, 2014) — Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union (MC EFCU), a Montgomery County, Md.-based full-service financial institution, announces the appointment of Susan Hoefs as the credit union’s new lending director. In addition to leading the credit union’s lending efforts, Hoefs will provide oversight on lending operations, including policies and procedures, compliance, new product development, underwriting guidelines, and quality assurance.
Hoefs has 19 years of experience as a lending professional. She previously served as the chief lending officer with the Sussex County Federal Credit Union and Director of Lending for the former Montgomery County Teachers Federal Credit Union, which is now Educational Systems Federal Credit Union.
“Susan has extensive experience in credit union lending management and we are excited about the insight she will bring to MC EFCU,” said Jim Norris, president and CEO of MC EFCU. “Her understanding of Montgomery County, combined with her industry knowledge, will help our members to better understand the many loan options available to them.”
Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union primarily serves Montgomery County government employees and recently expanded its charter to be able to serve additional public sector employees, retirees and family members from other Montgomery County agencies, including Montgomery County Public Schools and Montgomery College.
