Mountain America Credit Union opens new Pocatello branch

WEST JORDAN, UT (October 7, 2013) — Mountain America Credit Union celebrates today the opening of its new Pocatello branch. Located at 1012 Yellowstone Avenue, the new branch is one of three branches in the Pocatello area and five Mountain America Credit Union branches in Idaho. A public grand opening celebration and free barbecue is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, from noon to 2 p.m.

The Pocatello branch is managed by Liz Merzlock, a Pocatello native who began her banking career six years ago. She joined the Mountain America team two years ago.

“We are very excited to open a beautiful new facility in Pocatello,” says Jason Rogers, senior vice president of branch administration for Mountain America. “Liz Merzlock and her knowledgeable staff are dedicated to providing quality customer service and helping the residents of Pocatello save money and improve their financial situation.”

The Pocatello branch provides a wide range of financial products and services, including traditional savings, insurance, investments, auto and RV loans, and a full array of mortgage loans and services. Mountain America also offers an innovative checking account called MyStyle, which allows accountholders to customize their accounts with rewards such as music downloads, loan discounts and credit monitoring. Being federally chartered, Mountain America also can provide a wider assortment of services, including real estate and business lending.

“We are excited to be able to accommodate our members with more convenient access in this new location,” says Merzlock. “Some of our new services at the new Pocatello branch include three drive-thru lanes, a drive-up ATM, safe deposit boxes, a night drop and more room to accommodate mortgage officers and investment representatives within the branch.”
