Municipal Credit Union (MCU), the New York Metro area’s largest credit union, today announced the promotion of Peter Neiman to Senior Vice President of Marketing, effective March 1. Throughout 2025, the MCU marketing team, led by Neiman, directly supported deposit growth, new member acquisition and loan production. Neiman led MCU’s comprehensive brand repositioning and integrated marketing campaign, “We’re Here for It,” delivering measurable improvements in brand strength and market awareness, including increases in aided awareness, consideration and awareness that MCU is open to all New Yorkers.
In addition to driving stronger growth outcomes, Neiman successfully transformed MCU’s Marketing organization, strengthening cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise and elevating MCU’s executive communications, organizing Town Halls and Leadership Connections. He also scaled MCU’s public relations work, significantly expanding MCU’s visibility and strengthening engagement with media and community stakeholders.
“Peter consistently demonstrates strong ownership and accountability in everything he leads,” added Cania Infante, Chief Marketing Officer, MCU. “His ability to connect brand strategy to tangible business results reflects the expectations and responsibilities of a Senior Vice President. We are excited to see him continue building momentum for MCU and the members we serve.”
Neiman joined MCU in June 2024 as Vice President of Marketing. He brings more than 30 years of experience across agency and client-side leadership roles. A graduate of Boston University, Neiman spent the first 20 years of his career in leadership roles at New York advertising agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather, Grey and Bozell. He later served as Vice President of Brand and Advertising at Unum, a Fortune 250 insurance and benefits company, where he spent nine years leading enterprise brand strategy.
