NCUA Chairman Todd M. Harper addresses the Inclusiv 2022 Annual Conference

ALEXANDRIA, VA (May 4, 2022) — National Credit Union Administration Chairman Todd M. Harper spoke before the audience of Inclusiv’s 2022 Annual Conference Session in San Juan, Puerto Rico, today. Chairman Harper also participated in a panel discussion with Cathie Mahon, CEO of Inclusiv, and Mabel Jiménez Miranda, Executive President of COSSEC.

In his remarks, Chairman Harper affirmed the NCUA’s commitment to financial inclusion and supporting low-income credit unions, minority depository institutions, and community development credit unions that provide safe, fair, and affordable financial services in rural communities, communities of color, and underserved areas. He also highlighted the NCUA’s initiatives like the Community Development Revolving Loan Fund and the agency’s support of minority depository institutions, and he encouraged credit union leaders to make important and positive changes that will make the industry and the members it serves financially stronger.
