NeighborBench welcomes Abner Rangel as new associate analyst

FREDERICK, MD (October 10, 2013) — NeighborBench, a regulatory compliance monitoring, IT security and enterprise risk assessment solutions company, recently welcomed Abner Rangel as an associate analyst.

Rangel is located in the firm’s Provo, Utah Operations Center and will be tasked with projects for both NeighborBench and its independent sister company, NB Risk Partners. Prior to joining NeighborBench, he gained experience as a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and wrote work for Fairbourne Consulting on micro-entrepreneurship and micro-finance that will be published in a book later this year.

“We’re excited to welcome Abner to the team,” said Ken Wolff, CEO of NeighborBench. “As more financial institutions look to us for compliance solutions, expanding our team with talented individuals just made sense.”

Rangel is currently an economics major at Brigham Young University and has an associate’s degree in business management from LDS Business College.
In addition to his work with NeighborBench, he also teaches a class on entrepreneurship and basic business skills at Utah Valley University for The Academy for Creating Enterprise.
