Neighbors FCU hosting open house for Zachary reopening

BATON ROUGE, LA (August 6, 2019) — Neighbors will host an open house for the Zachary branch located at 6016 Main Street Zachary, LA 7079 on August 8. This branch was recently closed for renovations, and Neighbors would like to invite the Zachary community and
members to see the new layout. Neighbors will provide food and drinks throughout the day and will raffle off a tailgate prize package.

The new branch features a comfortable open layout with and modern banking technology to improve member service.

“We are excited to continue our investment in the Zachary community by completely renovating one of our older branches to bring a modern touch with the latest technology to our members in an open floor plan,” Neighbors Chief Operations Officer Greg Inman said.

“The new design creates a greater opportunity for member engagement and interaction with our team. As members walk in the door, a Member Advocate will assist them with any of their banking needs.”

Media members are welcome to come to the event and interviews may be provided upon request.

About Neighbors Federal Credit Union

Neighbors Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative operating as an  association dedicated to "people helping people." A handful of educators started Baton Rouge  Teachers in 1954 with a shoe box, a couple hundred dollars and the goal of making financial  services available to school system employees in our area.   Now, Neighbors Federal Credit Union is the largest community-chartered credit union in the  state of Louisiana with over 76,000 members and over $1 billion in assets. Since that time,  Neighbors has undergone a variety of changes, but the mission has stayed the same: Enhance  members' financial well-being and be a partner in the communities Neighbors serves.
